Your first session will take 45 minutes. During this time, we will assess your injury and create a personalised plan to implement.

Treatment plans will vary for each person, so it’s difficult to determine the number of sessions you will need. Typically, you can expect weekly visits. After the initial 45 minute consultation, sessions will be 30 minutes.

No referral is needed for a session, you are able to book without a letter from your doctor. However, to achieve the most holistic care, we recommend bringing along any relevant reports and findings from your doctor.

Private health insurance is accepted by our practice. Rebates are determined by your health care fund. We recommend speaking to them about your policy and level of coverage to discover your personal rebates.

We used a range of movement, exercise, manual therapy and other therapies such as dry needling to work with clients to assist in working towards their desired outcomes.

Our physiotherapists at the Edge Bowral hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). To achieve this registration, you must have completed a bachelors degree or higher.

If you have any scans, x-rays or any other information that may help with your treatment plan, please bring them along to this initial session.

Also, if you do have private health, we just ask you to bring your member card so we can process this for you.

Wear something comfortable that allows for ease of movement. Typically, you will perform stretches and exercises, so something breathable is also recommended.
